Sakib, Purnima named best actors
The government announces names of the recipients of the National Film Award 2010
Dhaka, Mar 20 (bdnews24.com) – Sakib Khan and Purnima will receive the National Film Award for best actor and actress for 2010.
'Gohine Shobdo', produced by Faridur Reza Sagar and directed by Khalid Mahmud Mithu, has been adjudged the best film, said a government circular on Tuesday.
In all, the government has named 25 recipients for the 2010 national awards.
Mithu has been declared the best director, the circular said, and Anwar Hossain gets the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the Bangladesh film industry, the circular said.
Similarly, Shujeyo Shyam Ghosh has been selected the best music director, Imdadul Haque Khokon the best choreographer and M A Alamgir and Romana the best actor and actress in supporting roles.
S I Tutul and Shammi Akhter will receive awards for the best male and female singers, Sheikh Saadi Khan has been named the best composer and Kabir Bakul the best lyricist.
The government will also award Mizu Ahmed as the best actor in negative role, Afzal Sharif for the best comic role, Prarthana Fardin Dighi as the best child artiste, Zakir Hossain Raju for the best story and dialogues, Nargis Akter for screenplay, Hasan Ahmed for cinematography, Kazi Selim for sound recording, Mozibur Rahman Dulu for editing, Mohiuddin Faruk for art direction, Abdur Rahman for make-up and Bibi Rasel for costume and decoration.
