Mominul Haque scores second century in Chittagong Test

Bangladesh batsman Mominul Haque has scored a second century in the Chittagong Test against Sri Lanka.

Haque came in near the end of play on Day 4 and has steadied a Bangladesh innings that looked shaky after three quick wickets on Saturday.

At the end of the 73rd over on Sunday, Bangladesh stood at 257-3, with a 57-run lead over Sri Lanka.

Haque had scored 102*, while his partner Liton Das was on 84*. The partnership between the two was 177 runs.

Haque was also the star of Bangladesh’s first innings, scoring 176. With the two innings, Haque has broken the record for the most runs scored by a Bangladeshi batsman in a Test match.

He also became the first Bangladeshi batsman to score two centuries in a Test match.
