Curry Life, the popular trade magazine of the industry, will organise the exposition in partnership with Just Eat at the Nine King Suite, ground level of the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Lancaster Terrace on Oct 7.
The Expo will run alongside the annual Curry Life Awards and Gala Dinner from 11am to 5pm.
According to the organisers, the second and final part of the event starts at 6pm in the Westbourne Suite, lower ground floor of the same hotel.
The finale of the event is strictly for those who have pre-booked seats and invited guests only. The expo will conclude with the annual Curry Life Awards, Gala Dinner and entertainments.
“Everything you need to know about running a successful business from production and sales to marketing and social media will be on show along with exclusive offers for visitors,” the organisers said at the press launch in London on Tuesday.
The event is the latest in a series of ventures to raise the cuisine’s global profile including awards, curry competitions and festivals hosted in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia.
"Foodies with authentic tastes of curry and restaurateurs looking for fresh ideas and good deals are expected to attend the World Curry Expo," he said.
Graham Corfield, the UK Managing Director of Just Eat, said, "We are proud to be the main partner for Curry Life Awards and World Curry Expo. From comforting Kormas to fiery Vindaloos - Brits love a curry. Asian cuisine is a hugely iconic part of British culture and continues to play a vital role on the Just Eat platform.
“From the well-known chains to the small, independent restaurants that characterise the sector, we know our curry industry partners are passionate about cooking great quality food and innovating choice on their menus.
“The World Curry Expo is the ideal event to create opportunities for the curry and catering industries to come together to celebrate our shared love for curry and find ways to innovate for the future. We look forward to seeing you all there," he added.
Syed Nahas Pasha, the Editor in Chief, Curry Life Magazine, said, "London is the home of the biggest multi-cultural communities in the Europe, if not the world.
“There are more curry restaurants in Greater London than in any other city in the world. Whether this is hot or mild, Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Malaysian, Thai or Chinese, the London is the global hub for curry and this is why we are proud to organise the World Curry Expo here in London.
"Curry Life always has been a trendsetter of finding new ideas to help promote British Curry Businesses across the world and this is another imitative of Curry Life for uniting our industry over curry and celebrating all things curry," he added.
The event is also sponsored and supported by Cobra Beer, Chivas, Travel Link and Unisoft Solutions.
